Introduction to Abstract Painting
Use a variety of materials within a constrained palette to learn the fundamentals of contrast, space and textures. Study expressions within lines, shapes, colours, volumes and composition and do experimental drawing and painting, including textures with basic colours all on different types of paper, canvas and wood panel.

Express with colours and textures, combining traditional and non traditional ways, applying colour and variety of materials onto canvas, paper, or wooden panels. Use different media with brushes, knives and other tools made of wood, plastics, metal, paper or cardboard. Learn the use of colour pastels, charcoal, and pencils. We will start with continuous exercises, then move onto exploring and developing individual ideas.
